Great Car. Great Crew. Great Production.

Recently reality pictures helped BMW unveil their 3 Design Lines concept for one of their signature vehicles, the 3 Series Sedan. 


Collaborating with the extensive automotive experienced Director Kim Takal was Director of Photography, Peter Klein, who has shot numerous national automotive commercials and running footage packages This was Peter’s first time working with reality pictures. 


Peter brought out the best in these vehicles, both on the dynamic roads of our locations in the mountains outside of San Diego as well as on the Sound Stage, in Long Beach, CA. Shooting with a variety of toys including the Sony F3 with Prime Lenses as well as the Cannon 5D Mark II and the Russian arm, this has been our most innovative and exciting car shoot to date (after all we flew all the way to California for the good weather and it snowed!). Also working with reality for the first time were Matt and Mitch Stelling  - grips extrordinaire. Their custom rigs are one of kind creating a variety of under the chassis, behind the bumper & any-where-you-can-think of solid as a rock mounts. 


Our professional driver Emile Bouret keeps getting better and better – winning the hearts and respect of the entire crew.
